Charity Bazaar, November 2012

The 2012 Charity Bazaar was opened by Mrs Ségolène Paxman, wife of the British Ambassador. Mrs. Paxman is the Honorary President of the British Ladies Association.

The money raised at the Bazaar has enabled us yet again to give cheques by way of a donation to the charities  we support year on year. We would like to give a big thank you to all those who helped make the Bazaar such a great success.

Looking ahead, we would like to make an appeal to anyone who feels that they might like to help with the 2013 Bazaar to please let us know. There is a lot of work to be done from September onwards, and many of our members, advanced in years, are not able to keep up the commitment. It is not necessary to be a member of the British Ladies Association to help with the Bazaar. It is satisfying work particularly as we personally visit our charities and can see how the money that we donate is being used. If you are interested, please contact our President, Sheila Stuart on 915710059.
